April Favourites

This is a list of my monthly favourites for the month of April, I have been using these products this month and have been loving them so I thought I would make a list of them with photos and share them with you all, I will also try to list places in NZ you can buy these and where I brought them from etc. Pictures will be at the bottom of the blog :)

* ELF ACNE FIGHTING FOUNDATION
First of all is the elf acne fighting foundation I wear the shade beige,
it is a little bit to dark but I have been mixing it with my Revlon foundation.
I love this combo with my dry flakey skin it blends out very well and doesn't look patchy or cakey.
I brought this from KJIMPORTS on facebook for about $8. I believe this foundation is a
awesome drugstore foundation and perfect for many skin types.

* REVLON COLOURSTAY FOUNDATION
My next favourite is Revlon colour-stay foundation
 I wear the shade 150 buff and it is a bit to pale
for me so I mix it with the elf one which is a bit
to dark for me. I feel that when I mix these 2 together
 it makes it silky smooth. This foundation cost me around
 $15 from KJIMPORTS but you can also buy this from Farmers.
I think if you have oily to combo skin this is a perfect foundation.

* BEN NYE BANANA POWDER
I honestly don't know where this product has been all my life.
 This Ben nye banana powder is freaking amazing I have been using
this under my eyes to set my concealer. Its fabulous and truly a new
holy grail of mine defiantly worth every cent. This doesn't crease or
move it doesn't cake up either, I got this from KJIMPORTS as well I paid $23 for it.
* BYS BLUSH
This is a bit of a funny one I purchased this from postie+ as
a blush it said it was "perfectly peachy" turns out it more of
a matte brown. So I have been using it as a eye shadow it turns
out its the perfect crease colour. I was a bit disappointed because
I was looking at a peachy blush but I am super happy that I found such
 a awesome crease colour instead. The brand for this is BYS it can also
be purchased from Kmart as a alternate.
* MAKEUP BRUSHES
These are 3 of my current favourite brushes these have been my holy grail
 brushes for a a few months now. I use the big fluffy brush for my blush it
is super big and fluffy but perfect for what I use it for. The pink one is
apart of a 10 piece Jessup brush set, I use this for setting my under eye concealer.
The last one is a curved crease brush that I use for blending my eyeshadow
through my crease. I find this is the best brush that evenly blend the colour.
All brushes were purchased from Ebay.
 * NYX BUTTERGLOSS
 These are pretty amazing to be honest. I purchased these from a
buy and sell page on facebook and I really love them. I find them
slightly sticky but in a good lipgloss way not a super sticky yuck way,
I have 2 of these in Tiramisu and vanilla cream pie. These can be purchased
from makeup.co.nz and beautybliss, and such a huge part of these are the smell
 they smell like amazingness.
*BEAUTY BY BIBBY
I truly don't know where to start with these to sum it up they are beyond
amazing. These lipsticks are from Bibiana known on facebook as Beauty by
Bibby she is a amazing person who makes these lipsticks. These are her own
brand of lipsticks and there is a massive collection of shades and finishes.
 I will be doing a full review of these coming soon... I own 4 of these in the
 shades, flossy pink lemonade poisoned and deadly nightshade all beautiful shades.
*JORDANA BROW POWDER
This stuff is chalky and powdery but still amazing it sticks to the brow hairs perfectly.
 I have the shade light brown I use these to fill in the gaps in my brows. This cost me about
 $3 from a dollar store this has been one of those products I love and use daily.
*SKINFOOD MUDMASK AND MOISTURIZER
I have super dry skin so I thought I would give these a go. The skin food mud mask
 is apart of my nightly routine it dries hard and as wash it off my face it takes
all the dry dead skin off my face with it which is perfect and it smells amazing.
As for the moisturizer its quite a thick consistency that feels like it sits on
the surface of your skin but slowly it sinks in which again is perfect for skin like
mine. These items are apart of my everyday skincare routine and I think if you have dry
 skin they are worth trying out. They are around $10ea from most supermarkets.
* GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER
This is the talk of the country at the moment and I am defiantly on the band wagon
 for this one. This stuff is freaking amazing I have been using this for makeup remover
toner and brush cleaner and it works for all of these amazingly. I got this from beauty
review to trial and I am going to repurchase this asap I love it and I really think everyone
 needs to trial this product for them selves its a holy grail for everything.!
*COLLECTIONS COSMETICS
My last 2 favourites are from the brand collections cosmetics these can be
purchased from countdown nz. First of all I have the lasting perfections concealer
 in fair 01 this is used for my under eye highlighter. Its really awesome and doesn't
crease or cake up under the eyes this concealer is a dupe for the nars creamy concealer
and is quarter of the price a win win in my eyes. The next product I have been using
heaps it the no clumps mascara in black. I personally love this mascara because of the brush
 I love the rubber brush it helps separate my super long lashes without smudging or clumping up.
 I really recommend to all my readers its pretty darn amazing.
Most of the products mentioned in this post can be purchased from places such as makeup.co.nz
which is super popular is nz and has heaps and heaps of amazing brands and products. As well as
KJIMPORTS Kayla will help you with whatever you need she is very kind and super helpful.
